Founded in 2015, Infotel UK Consulting is one of the leading IT Consultancy companies in the North East shortlisted for the Dynamites Awards 2022 in the category Innovator of the Year for it’s data management solution Deepeo. The winner will be announced at a black-tie ceremony at the Civic Centre Newcastle, on Thursday, November 10.
The Dynamites are the North East’s most highly anticipated IT and Tech award ceremony that showcases the region’s hotbed of talent and shine a spotlight on North East organisations.
“We are proud to be part of the North East tech community and being shortlisted for the Dynamite Award with our product Deepeo makes us even more proud. We are honoured to serve local business needs to solve housekeeping tasks across their hundreds of databases to manage data deletion according to company’s retention policy and meet ever-evolving data regulations. Delivering the value to the tech industry and bringing the finest knowledge and experience to the region well aligns with our values” said managing director of Infotel UK Mundeep Nayyar.
The Infotel UK team based in Newcastle developed user-friendly software system to manage large business data that helps to meet GDPR compliance for companies of any size. Most companies have huge volumes of customer data to manage but do not have a robust system in place to cope with it. This can generate a large volume of unnecessary work, dead time, and resources for companies that deal with large amount of collected customer or employee data. Deepeo can help various companies maintain compliance of data within GDPR and DPA requirement and can adapt to any country’s guidelines where data subjects reside and operate.
Customer data privacy and data exploitation are rising concerns across the UK and Europe after the boom of e-commerce and digital business during the pandemic. According to finbold.com, in 2021 the number of GDPR violations has increased by 113.5% in Europe, while over the same period the number of GDPR fines experienced 124.92% growth.
Increasing data breach, leakage and cookie issues across Europe raises new data management problems for medium and large companies entailing other issues like monotonous manual work, shortage of staff, technical implementation and understanding the consequences. Penalty for infringement of the UK GDPR is a maximum fine of £17.5 million or 4% of annual global turnover – whichever is greater.
Having expertise in this problem our company came up with the solution that can help businesses to meet their requirements of data management laws saving millions of pounds for local businesses.
Currently the software is adopted to manage customer data by a globally known financial service providing company and a few other North Tyneside companies are on the stage of considering deepeo as a necessary compliance toolkit.
Wish us luck and We look forward to celebrating with you all on the 10th of November!
